Freedom Writers is a virtual Roblox Creator Challenge for young people aged 11 to 16. You learn, build, publish, earn Freedom Points, and compete for a share of 11,500 Robux.

What Happens In The Challenge

21 Jul The challenge begins on 21 July 2026.
24 Aug The programme ends on 24 August 2026.
30 There are 30 paid places.

You will follow Quest Line tutorials, experiment with Roblox Studio, build weekly, get feedback from other students, and work towards publishing your own playable game.

Freedom Points Leaderboard

Freedom Points are your experience points. Every build you submit, every session you attend, every challenge you complete, and every peer you support adds to your total. The leaderboard has no ceiling. The highest total wins.

Prize Pool And Awards

Architect Award

6,000 Robux for the highest ranked senior builder aged 14 to 16, judged on technical complexity.

Visionary Award

3,000 Robux for the highest ranked junior builder aged 11 to 13, judged on creativity and originality.

People's Build

2,500 Robux for the most fun and replayable game, voted by the cohort.

Builder's Guarantee

Reach 280 Freedom Points and earn 250 Robux guaranteed, regardless of where you finish on the leaderboard. Show up, keep building, and your Robux is secured.

What You Need

Roblox Studio

Roblox Studio is free to download. It is the tool you will use to build and publish your game.

Laptop Or PC

You need a laptop or PC that can run Roblox Studio, plus a stable internet connection.
