Intellectual Property and Creator Partnership

All games, assets, and creative work produced by participants during Freedom Writers belong entirely to the participant. Odeh & Wisdom Holdings Ltd makes no claim of ownership over any student creation.

Your child's game is theirs. We will never sell, commercialise, or claim ownership of anything they build without a separate written agreement and agreed compensation.

Showcase licence - all participants: By registering for Freedom Writers, the parent or guardian grants Odeh & Wisdom Holdings Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display the name and a screenshot or short video clip of the participant's submitted game in Freedom Writers promotional materials, social media, website content, and grant applications. This licence does not transfer ownership of the game and may be withdrawn at any time by emailing ceo@odeh-wisdomholdings.com.

Creator Partnership - award winners only: Winners of the three Creator Challenge award categories will be invited to enter into a separate Creator Partnership Agreement with Odeh & Wisdom Holdings Ltd. Participation in the Creator Partnership is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of receiving prize Robux.

🏆 Creator Partnership Agreement

The Creator Partnership Agreement is a separate document offered exclusively to award winners and signed by the parent or guardian. It covers the following:

  • Odeh & Wisdom Holdings Ltd may feature the winning game as a case study in marketing, pitch materials, and grant applications.
  • Odeh & Wisdom Holdings Ltd is granted first right of refusal if the participant ever wishes to commercialise their game concept. This means we get the opportunity to discuss a partnership before the participant approaches any other commercial party.
  • The participant retains full intellectual property ownership of their game at all times.
  • Any commercial development of a student's game concept by OWH Ltd requires a separate written agreement with fair compensation agreed in advance and in writing with the parent or guardian.
  • The Creator Partnership runs for 12 months from the date of signing and is renewable by mutual written agreement.
  • Either party may exit the Creator Partnership at any time by giving 30 days written notice with no penalty.

Limitation of Liability

Odeh & Wisdom Holdings Ltd will always endeavour to deliver the programme as described. However, we are not liable for the following:
